To celebrate the last day of term, the children came along to their Christmas Party on Friday 18th December. They enjoyed singing and dancing, pass the parcel and plenty of yummy party food. There were two special guests, the entertainer Jester Giggles who provided plenty of fun and laughs and Santa Claus who came along with his sackful of presents! All the children had a great time before breaking up for the Christmas holidays.

Our Toy Sale held on 14th November at Loddon Hall was a great success. We had a vast amount of toys to sell together with queues outside the door anxious to grab a bargain. Two thirds of the money went back to the sellers with the Pre-school keeping a third. We raised over £600 which is great. Thank you to everyone who helped in some way to make the day such a success!

Our Annual General Meeting was held on the 14 October 2009 and was well attended by both parents and staff. Several new committee members were appointed creating a full and healthy committee for the year ahead. After the meeting a glass of wine and nibbles were enjoyed by all, providing a great opportunity for staff, committee and parents to socialise.

Our 2009 summer outing was to the Look Out in Bracknell. This was a great day out for all the parents and children who had great fun collecting logs and branches and building an animal hide in the woods. We also spent some of our time burning off energy in the excellent play park. Everyone enjoyed a picnic lunch together and it was an ideal opportunity for the parents, children and the younger siblings to spend some time together.

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt took place on Friday 3rd April 2009 within the Nature Area of the Polehampton Junior School. The children had great fun spotting and collecting the eggs and this was followed by a sandwich lunch in the pre-school. We held a raffle for the parents which was well supported too.
